Good stay. The location is perfect when traveling to or from Gatwick airport. A simple, short walk into the terminal from the train. The check in staff was friendly and helpful. There is access to several stores and resturants in the airport before the security check. You can also easily take a train or bus into London. The room was clean and although small it was comfortable. Free hot drinks and coffee were available on the floor. We'd recommend staying here if you have an early or late Gatwick flight.

We had an early morning flight so decided to get to Gatwick the previous day and stop at the Bloc hotel to get some decent sleep - it was a good decision! The room was not big (but then we did not need a big room for one night), it's quite sound proof (I was worried airport can be noisy). There is a shared room with a hot drinks machine, hot chocolate is actually nice! There are a few cafes and restaurants in the terminal that offer discounts if yo stay at Bloc. And it's perfect for morning flights, the hotel is in the terminal building so it's very close to the check-in area.

Very convenient easy to check in to hotel and find at airport terminal as inside. Had a very early flight so was perfect. Good shower with toiletries and comfortable bed with access to hot drinks.

Very convenient as it’s in the departures terminal. However, the room is only 10m2 as advertised, not enough room to swing a cat. Bed is very comfortable and had a good night’s sleep.

The room is lovely and comfortable. The best thing for me is that sound proofing. I love the bathrooms and wet rooms in this hotel.

Great location for an early flight, love that it was in the terminal. Had been debating between the different airport hotel chains but settled on this for the combo of ease/proximity and price! Liked the minimalism of it, had everything I needed too. Bed was also super comfy. The tablet was confusing to use at first re the air con, maybe some guidance somewhere could’ve been helpful (if there was I missed it)

Very easy to get to. It's actually inside thw terminal. I loved the simple but modern design of the room. Very comfortable bed and the space is maximed in a very pratical way. You can't hear anything or anyone, excellent noise proof. We could feel the vibrations of a plane taking off but hardly nothing considering we were at the airport.

The member of staff on reception was friendly, and informative about the check in and check out process for the following morning. Facilities wise, the room was quite compact, which meant the controls for the air conditioning and lighting was conveniently on the wall next to the bed, which was exceedingly comfy for the price. The bathroom/wetroom contained a good shower and the typical amenities you'd hope to find, and the room itself also contained a desk space, TV with basic channel options, and air conditioning which worked very well - especially important for a room without windows. Location to London Gatwick South Terminal and London Gatwick Train Station was also superb.

The location of the hotel is magnificent. You get off the train to Gatwick, walk about 5 minutes inside the Airport, and you’re there. It is the perfect place to park up for the night before an early morning flight, especially for those who don’t want to drive to Gatwick Airport. Super high-speed Wi-Fi is available in the rooms for all your streaming needs. We stayed in the Family room, which had a king-size bed and bunk beds. All very comfortable. The bathroom had a wet room shower, and high-end toiletries were provided. For those in a rush, you can use a link they email you to access a website by which you can gain keyless entry to your rooms, check in and check out without having to wait to see a staff member. Although staff are available in the lower floor reception for those who prefer a traditional check-in. There is no restaurant on site but free hot drinks are available via a barista grade coffee machine on each floor. In addition, Bloc Hotel guests receive a 20% discount on several restaurants and cafes in Gatwick, which also takes care of your meals. I recommend the Giraffe restaurant, which is a minute's walk from the hotel and has a great menu and comfortable seating, even with luggage.

The compact room design is good, and the views onto the apron for plane spotting were great. The staff were friendly, and we checked in a bit before the official time window. The waterfall shower design was great and the location was spot on for timekeeping. Complimentary drinks machine also a nice touch.
